Doesn't look like any of us are going down this year :( A bunch of us are heading to Toronto for Pride and then a tropical vacation in the winter... can't afford to do all that AND get to Minneapolis this year I'm afraid :(

Thankfully there haven't been too many games coming out that I want, so I've been able to whittle down my pile quite well. Finished off MGS3 last week, close to finishing Killer 7 (finally!), and I should be done Metal Gear Ac!d and MGS: Portable Ops by next weekend :D

That being said, the pre-order bonus for R-Type Command sucked me in and I'll be picking that up next week :P

wow. i'm not too behind then.
i havent finished mario galaxy, just barely touched brawl bros, mario kart is unopened, and i have GTAIV on its way. i have no time for games anymore :(

I never picked up Smash Bros, Kart or GTA. Just not a fan of Smash Bros or GTA (though I'm gonna rent it) and I heard Mario Kart Wii just isn't as good as Double Dash :(

Hey Ryan,

It's Juancho (aka boywithnoname from Flickr or aka starkravinglad from GG.net).

I laughed when I read your definition of "Pile of Shame" because I have one of those. So many purchased Wii games, so many left unfinished. Same with some DS games as well. And what's worse is that I'm sort of in a place in my life right now where I have little to no interest in video games. I know...shame on me...I can't really call myself a gamer...although I never really did. LOL

Anyways, congrats on spending all your non-gaming hours with your man. You guys look great together. And now I think I'll shed a few tears for my own pile of shame.
