Thank you EBGames. Thank you for your crazy ass trade in deal.
Not only did you trick me into a much needed purge of my game library, you gave me a free PSP in the process. With Loco Roco! I <3 you!
*Mmmmmwaaa!*
Not all is perfect in the land of Sony love, unfortunately. While they say that it will play mp4 files, the reality is that it's only very specific codecs. Now I'm currently on the hunt for a decent converter for the mac.
Over the course of the weekend I checked out iPSP, PSPWare, Handbrake, and MPEG Streamclip. No conclusions have been drawn yet, but I'll post my results soon.
What does work fantastically is MyTunesRSS. Super easy to set up, works brilliantly, and if port forwarding scares you, they've got a nice l'il work around built in for ya.
Currently Playing: Loco Roco (PSP), Wipeout Pure (PSP), Puzzle Quest (DS) (Yes, still!), Dead Rising (Xbox 360) Currently Reading: Robotech: The Macross Saga: Battle Cry by Jack McKinney (hey, I've been distracted by all these good games. Shush!)Currently Listening To: "EGM Live* - 05/21/2007" by EGM Staff from EGM Live* - Electronic Gaming Monthly Magazine's Wee

Despite my inability to play video games and inferior knowledge of today's games I think the PSP is the coolest piece of machinery out there today.
Ya know, I'd have to agree with you. While the DS certainly has the biggest (and better) game library the PSP does so much more than just games.
*annoyed that this lovely offer evidently ain't here in the yew ess*
Just did the research as well, im totally blaming canada.
Although it is cool to see a gamecube for cheap!
That right American's... pout! Pout while you still can!
;)
*grumble grubmle*
"(Canada only)"
*grumble grumble*
ya know??????
*glares in the general direction of canada while trying not to laugh at the hilarity of doing so*

dooooooood - the psp rawks
no, it is not perfect, but it is just remarkable (and poorly exploited by sony...)
I would suggest lumines (bien entendu) and Daxter - mercury meltdown is festive as well
But srsly, on travel, i take it and my lap top (mostly to store and do email) - music, movies, games - the PSP can do it all.

Lumines I've already got in PS2 form but I've been eyeing up both Lumines II and Every Extend Extra.
I haven't been that impressed with Q?'s offerings on the DS (both Gunpey DS and Meteos just didn't click with me at all) but their PSP offerings always seem hot hot HAWT!
Oh that sucks so hard it's Canada only!
It's about time we Canadians got a sweet ass deal up here. :)
